Small Business Loans – Are They Finally A Government Focus?
Small business loans have been the talk of the town the last several years. The credit markets have been tight and obtaining a business loan has proved itself to be quite a chore. The government decided to extend aid to America’s largest banks and insurance companies, along with our auto industry. Many will argue it was a terrible decision. It is what it is. The government finally however, has decided to put their arms around small business and its needs.
The SBA (Small Business Administration) has done their best to come up with programs that offer financial relief to the small business community. Last week Obama urged congress to extend two SBA loan programs that would help extend more relief in the already so tight capital markets. The first program is the SBA’s express loan programs which would expand the cap from $350,000 to $1 million. The SBA’s express loan programs are dedicated for working capital loans and lines of credit for small businesses. The second program is the commercial real estate loan program. Obama would like to see small business owners have the ability to refinance their commercial mortgages to potentially relieve some financial stress. In order to be eligible for this commercial mortgage loan program, business owners must have a business plan, a first mortgage and must be current on all payments in the last year. The White House expressed this new program would help refinance up to $18.7 Billion in commercial mortgages each year that would otherwise fall into delinquency or foreclosure.
We think this is great. Now, we have heard the government speak about expanding programs and dedicate more resources to the small business community with not much as a dent to show for it. However, what this should tell us is the government is looking into the future a bit to fix a problem before it happens. There are commercial buildings completely empty all across the nation right now. We have never seen more CBRE signs on one city block then ever before. We believe the government sees that commercial mortgages could be serious trouble for our economy in the next year or so. We believe if the SBA can entertain a commercial mortgage default solution, another economic emergency could be potentially bypassed, and our recovery to a once thriving economy can steadily be realized.
Along with the expansion of these two programs Obama would like to eliminate capital gains taxes for year 2010 and offer $5,000 dollar tax credits for each employee a small business hires. we think this is yet another great program to push hope into the small business community that things are looking up.

New Report Debunks Myth of the California Family Winery?
The Marin Institute (wikipedia) has issued a “report” calling family wineries are a myth! They state that the California wine industry promotes a false image of small mom and pop vintners in picturesque, rolling hills and valleys of Napa, Sonoma, and around the state. Their claim is that “California wine is synonymous with Big Alcohol.”
Self proclaimed anti-alcohol superheros, they are out to save us – from ourselves. Their goal? “Marin Institute fights to protect the public from the impact of the alcohol industry’s negative practices. We monitor and expose the alcohol industry’s harmful actions related to products, promotions and social influence, and support communities in their efforts to reject these damaging activities.” Basically, they are prohibitionists.
I don’t know about you, but I don’t feel that I need saving…

Do Therapeutic Golf Bracelets Like The TRION: Z Really Work?
I dislocated my wrist back in 1999 playing in a tournament in Las Vegas, NV. I had a ball just a little above my feet on the right side of a fairway bunker. The ball was right up against the lip and was more out of the bunker than in it. I felt that I could pull of a punch shot and still get the ball on the green, which I did. Unfortunately the lip caught the toe of my club and yanked my right wrist out of place. I was fortunate enough to find a wrist brace that night so I was able to finish the tournament. Pet Ferret: How Do You Decide?
There are a some serious questions that you should ask yourself before choosing or deciding on getting a pet ferret.
• Do you have the time to care for your pet ferret?
• Do you have enough space to keep a ferret?
• Have you educated yourself about these furry little creatures?
If your answer to all of these questions is a “Yes” then your ready to start the journey of a lifetime.
Ferrets are highly active and mischievous animals who will keep you entertained with their antics. They are extremely intelligent and hence litter training your pet ferret is not difficult at all. However, since they are extremely active you will need to make sure to get rid of items that are dangerous for them. Once left loose outside their cages they will run all around your home and enjoy every moment of their freedom. You will find them scampering around to investigate items that are lying around and trust me, they think everything is theirs.

Leaving your ferret unsupervised is not a good idea, for a simple fact that these nosey animals could swallow things or get themselves into trouble. Also make sure that you do not keep plants around their play area as they may be toxic for your little friend.

This ancient Chinese, holistic method that she has adopted has been successful with thousands of women worldwide and it may be just what you are looking for to solve your infertility.
Lisa Olson is convinced that her program is for everyone, even women who are simply looking for a way to improve their overall wellbeing. She considers this natural approach to be rejuvenating and better than the majority of nutritional and alternative health books on the market today. I’m not sure that I would go that far. As I stated above, this book can be helpful and should be considered as a first course of action. However, there are going to be some of you who will not be able to conceive following this method. Nothing is 100% guaranteed when it comes to pregnancy.

Scale Model Trains: What does that mean?
Model trains are available in a variety of different sizes that are denoted as scales. This spectrum of sizes ranges from miniature train sets to large models that designed to be set up outdoors. There are two terms used in association of collecting model trains, they are gauge and scale. Scale is used to describe the ratio of a model to the actual train that it depicts and gauge refers to the track width.
When it comes to model railroad collecting the choice of scale is usually the most important aspect that needs to be decided before the collection can start. It is a matter of personal preference as well as experience and don’t forget what may be the most important part of the equation, which is your budget. Although there are many different scales available for you to choose from the HO is one of the most popular.
The HO model train scale is by far the most common amongst the scales. The approximate ratio of HO model trains is 1:87. You will also be able to find variations in the HO scales. The HO is popular since it comes in various gauges and is very easy to work with. The detail is outstanding and the size of the train is somewhat like a popular fairytale. Its size is not too small, it’s not to big…..it’s just right!
Not only will you be able to find HO model trains with utmost ease but also one of the biggest advantages of sticking to this scale is that you will easily be able to find a wide variety of accessories with which you can enhance your model train display.
Next in line on the popularity chart is the N scale model train. The N scale has the ratio of 1:160 that makes them considerably smaller than the HO. For my taste the N scale is to small and the detailing on the locomotives and cars is not as intricate as on the HO scale. One other detail that should be mentioned is that accessories for the N scale are much less available than for the HO and other model trains because their small size makes them complex and difficult to work with and the number of units sold has reduced worldwide demand therefore making this a difficult train to collect. However there is one big benefit with this standard and that is the fact that you can set up an extensive railroading track in a relatively small space. The N scale tends to be more popular with kids and individuals that have limited space to work with and are not interested in large detailed railroad layouts.
The other three scales in the fab five list are the O (1:48), the Z (1:220) and the big daddy himself, the G (1:24). There are other scales available but are not considered to be big collector items since their popularity is so small. The fewer retail units sold means fewer accessories. Collectors tend to lean toward the fab five and then it is the individual’s personal taste in scale that seems to be the determining factor in their collection. So spend some time and consider your space, your budget and your personal taste and come on aboard.

When the hobby of collecting toy model trains is mentioned most people tend to think of those toy trains and tracks that are available for children in the market. However model train collecting is a very serious and expensive hobby maintained by thousands of people around the world.
The term model railroading is used to define the practice of collecting model trains and constructing elaborate tracks for them. Model trains are miniature versions of actual trains that have run the tracks around America and the UK. Model trains, as a hobby is the collecting of intricately created models that are regarded as having high collectable value amongst model train enthusiasts.

These trains tend to be so small that one has to observe them from up close in order to appreciate the detailing. Model Train Information
I have always been interested in trains. I love the sound of them and really enjoy watching them. When we lived in New Mexico I always enjoyed the drive around Vaughn because the open prairie displayed the moving trains for such a long time and they looked great against the mountains.

Now that you are committed to starting a model train collection there are a number of areas for you to consider. These items are important so that your collection will be perfect for you and your budget.
The first thing is the scale. Scale is size of the model train with G being the largest and going down you will find O scale, S scale, HO scale, N scale and the smallest Z Scale with ratios starting at 1:8 and going down to 1:220. The most popular scales are the G, N, Z and HO model trains.
The larger the scale of the model trains the more detail you can get, however the scale that you choose to collect should take into consideration not only detail but also cost, budget and the amount of space that you have available to set up your model railroad.
When it comes to detail all the scales are well done and would make a nice collection. It really depends on your own taste. Be sure and check out a model train show in your area.
